I own a lovely Hilton Head Timeshare resort called Port O'Call. I own the 2nd week in July at this great resort. I cannot get anyone to rent or buy it because the timeshare listings do not reach the average consummer. Most people don't know you can rent or buy from owners for a fraction of the cost of renting/buying from the resorts. My summer week is in unit 504, a lovely 2 bdrm unit with two baths and two decks only rents for $1200 per week, and is for sale for $12,000, but how do I get this information out to the general public? Please don't tell me about traditional timeshare rental sites because I know them all. I want to reach NON-Timesharing folks who would appreciate a week like this. The reason I want to rent it/sell it is because the drive from NJ is too much for my husband (75) We love Port O'Call and really wish a young family would rent/buy it from us. There are two king suites, 2 sleeper coaches, and the unit sits on the swimming pool. It includes golf and tennis!

I've been looking online and I haven't had any luck finding any sites for houseboat rentals.... Any suggestions?

Seeking to move there and realize there's a very healthy tourism industry. We are looking for a community that does not have a high number of rental properties.
